The conclave was organized jointly by the EU SPIPA project, along with GIZ, TERI and CEEW. The conclave was launched on 4th October 2019 with a photography and blog writing competition. Finalists of these competitions, along with other selected students, participated in capacity building activities and a negotiation round on workshop modelled on Conference of Parties (COP) to the UNFCCC as a special session for youth along the side-lines of World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS) 2020 from 29-31 January 2020 .
